Sport Dimension INC. is a manufacturer of water sports related products with roots dating back to the early 1970’s. The majority of team, along with many associates, has worked with and for the pioneers of surfing and scuba diving giving them a solid foundation, wealth of experience, and knowledge to draw from to design, produce, innovative. Their focus is on wetsuits, floatation vests, and body boards. Based in Carson, CA, Sport Dimension’s headquarters houses all facets of its business operations.
Manual Data Entry Was a Pain
Sports Dimension’s sales volume was growing, and they were bogged down with a pile of work.
1. They were manually inputting each Sales Order into Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP by looking into Amazon Vendor central and eComDash which sources Orders from various Sales Channel such as Shopify, eBay, Amazon etc. These systems were not integrated with their Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP.
2. They were manually acknowledging Orders in Amazon Vendor Central.
3. They were manually entering Invoices in Amazon Vendor Central by looking into Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP.
Entering orders and updating inventory manually was taking time away from core business activities that would allow them to scale and grow.

The Impact eBridge Has Made for Sport Dimension
Amazon’s Vendor Central can sometimes present a challenge when it comes to setting up EDI document flow directly to an ERP system due to their API. However, this was not a challenge for the eBridge implementation team. With a little research and some testing, they were able to deliver. Before launch, eBridge tested each connection to ensure that data was flowing bi-directionally without any errors. In addition, they did not leave Eric, Dennis, and the team at Sports Dimension high and dry. eBridge provided training. This enabled Sports Dimension to troubleshoot any errors they could potentially encounter by themselves.
