Often when we talk about CRM integration with back-office accounting/ERP systems, we think of it in terms of the value it creates for our accountants and bookkeepers. When we look at CRM integration as a time-saver for these people, we often think about benefits such as invoices populating directly in the CRM system, customer data always being accurate and updated immediately, billing addresses being shared across business systems, etc.

By now you likely already know what EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is. Essentially, EDI is an electronic exchange of standard business documents between two companies. Every Amazon seller, regardless of whether they choose an Individual or Professional Selling Plan
, knows that there’s a list of Amazon seller criteria
they must oblige by in order to sell their products on Amazon.
Failure to meet the criteria could result in penalties for things like:
- Running out of inventory
- Processing orders too slowly
- Not meeting shipping deadline expectations
- Receiving negative feedback from customers
Too much of any of these things could even result in your Amazon seller account being revoked. Yikes!

Amazon Prime Day is an annual sales event by Amazon.com
that some say offers big enough deals to rival Black Friday.
The event first started in 2015, when the online retail giant marked two decades since the day it first opened, and the sale was so successful that Amazon decided to make it an annual affair.
The exact date for this year’s Prime Day hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s predicted that it will be sometime between July 10th
and July 16th
, with much speculation that it will fall on Tuesday July 11th, 2017
Unlike past years when it was a 24-hour event, this year Prime Day will run for 30 hours (from 6:00 PM to midnight PDT on the day before Prime Day, plus the 24 hours of Prime Day itself). Essentially, we’re talking about a day and a half of deals and discounts for Amazon Prime members.
Even more exciting, Amazon has also alluded to the possibility of a “Prime Day Week”
this year, which might mean they have plans to promote more than just a single day of deals.

If you’re an Amazon seller with a Professional selling plan, you may have heard of a little thing called the ‘Buy Box’. For those of you that don’t already know, the Buy Box is the box on a product detail page where customers can begin the purchasing process by adding items to their shopping carts.
A key feature of Amazon is that multiple sellers can offer the same product. If more than one eligible seller offers a product, they may compete for the Buy Box for that product. Beneath the Buy Box are Additional Seller Listings of merchants that offer the same product but did not ‘win’ the Buy Box.
